Everything You Need to Know About Our Yarn

Welcome to our Yarn FAQ blog post! We know that selecting the perfect yarn and planning your next project can come with a lot of questions. That's why we've put together this guide to answer the most common inquiries about our Supersoft Merino and 100% Merino Wool yarns. Whether you're wondering how much yarn to buy, how to care for your finished garments, or what needle size to use, we've got you covered. Dive in to learn everything you need to know before starting your next knitting or crochet masterpiece!

1. How much yarn should I purchase for my project?
To ensure consistency in color, we recommend purchasing enough yarn at the start to complete your entire project. Later purchases may vary slightly in shade, as dye lots can differ. We recommend buying 10 balls of yarn to knit an aran sweater.

2. What is the recommended needle size for your yarn?
Our Supersoft Merino and 100% Merino Wool yarns are best paired with needle sizes ranging from 3.75mm to 4.5mm.

3. How many yards/meters are in each ball of yarn?
Each skein contains approximately 246 yards (225 meters) of yarn, perfect for a variety of knitting and crochet projects.

4. How should I care for garments made with your yarn?
To keep your finished garments looking their best, hand wash them gently with care and lay flat to dry. Avoid wringing or twisting to maintain the integrity of the fibers. Please see our care guide here

5. Can I purchase knitting patterns on your website?
No need to purchase as we offer patterns for FREE. Sign up for our emails to receive a free pattern and stay updated on our latest yarn collections and exclusive offers.
